What does that have to do with TWiki and the
TWikiCommunity?
MichaelDaum - 18 Aug 2008:
Peter, do I really have to explain it?
MichaelDaum - 19 Aug 2008:
See, others struggle with their development process as well. Here's a quote from an
interview of ZDNet.co.uk with Linus Torvalds
:
"I don't think a 'perfect' process exists. [...] Of course, some people will be alienated, and there's no doubt that the process could probably be improved."
Linux kernel development was "not a 'warm and fuzzy' environment where people sing Kumbaya around the fireplace" and that some "very opinionated people" were involved.
He also explains that their problem is not to scale when coping with thousands of developers and patches but the human factor in communication. And, surely, communicating effectively is only possible sharing a substantial
common ground, a culture the community shares.
The above picture just illustrates what recently happened on
talking about TWiki's usability.

Michael: It is one of the drawing's you were talking about, huh?
MartinSeibert - 20 Aug 2008:
As an explanation: Michael is convinced, that some drawings will convey messages better than words. He seems to have found a pen to communicate. Good style, man! You don't wanna see my skills in this area.
