1. Review Urgent Bugs with 4.2.1 scope

• Desired outcome: Identify owners for urgent bugs; decide on release date of 4.2.1
• See TWikibug:ReleaseBlocker, List of changes waiting for release

• TWikibug:Item5562 - downgrade to normal since noone can reproduce it with the information we have from the reporter
• TWikibug:Item5382 - Sopans code is correct. It is the unit tests that need fixing. Peter confirmed that Sopan is working on the unit tests
• TWikibug:Item5707 - downgrade to normal as it seems this problem has only been seen by a single customer
• TWikibug:Item5729 - it was suggested that the conclusion in the bug item is not correct. Downgrade to normal
• TWikibug:Item5796 - seems to be related to specific perl version. Reporter is the only one that could reproduce it. Rafael will try and reproduce as he has perl 5.8.4. If Rafael cannot reproduce we downgrade to normal.
• TWikibug:Item5718 - most likely the files have been manipulated by non-TWiki agent. Downgrade to normal. Do not try to rewrite the entire search within 4.2.1 scope.
• TWikibug:Item5659 - seems resolved. No action.
• TWikibug:Item5787 - Not a bug. Space not allowed in URL. No Action - UPDATE. Sven thinks it is a bug. It is probably more an enhancement. No matter what feel free to fix it - but it is not a release blocker for 4.2.1
• TWikibug:Item5792 - Not a release blocker. Note that d.t.o is setup for warnings are errors making the code die instead of warning
• TWikibug:Item5437 - UTF8 agreed to be "as is" in 4.2.1. Need a UTF8 driver or better a UTF8 team engaged for 5.0
• TWikibug:Item5451 - Michael Daum is expected to do this simple rename of a sub.
• TWikibug:Item5118 - Kenneth will set it Waiting For Release as Item5785 covers remaining issue
• TWikibug:Item4824 - Kenneth will set it Waiting For Release as Item5785 covers remaining issue
• TWikibug:Item5765 - A majority wants to clean the files out of the SVN history
• TWikibug:Item5785 - Kenneth will write a how-to reproduce. Crawford will then attempt to fix.

String Freeze - The meeting agreed that we will declare immediate String Freeze

Release Date - The target is the weekend 2-3 August. Kenneth will build release. If the code is not ready the release date will be two weeks later because of Kenneth's vacation

2. Feature requests for Georgetown Release

Comments / Feedback

Since we ran out of time last week: Could we also have a short look at TWikibug:Item5765 (not related to the 4.2.1 release, but IMHO also somewhat urgent)? This should take less than 5mins, but I guess the obliteration of the files in question--also listed in Changeset 17009--needs to be scheduled properly, since this is "a bit messy" using SVN.

Markus - yeah, I guess i'll have to do the svn dump restore some time - hate doing it, it takes so bloody long.
