1. Refine new TWiki Governance

• Desired outcome: Discuss TWikiGovernanceProposal1
• See IntroducingTWikiGovernance and TWikiGovernanceProposal1

• The Governance proposal was discussed further.
• Peter Thoeny states:
  • that the TCC members are: Arthur Clemens, Michael Daum, Kenneth Lavrsen, Martin Seibert, and Peter Thoeny
  • the first TCC is appointed and not elected because the community to grow and regain trust before Peter and others would feel comfortable that an elected TCC will not end up with members that are all critical to Peter's own interests.
  • the TCC will be elected when the TCC finds that the community trust is regained. Earliest time is in connection with the Q1 2009 Summit. Latest time would be in connection with the Q3 2009 Summit.
• Kenneth committed to make a Codev page presenting the process that led to the first appointed TCC. The one line summary is that the TCC members are chosen based on as broad a representation of both commercial and technical/non technical interests. Kenneth will describe the process on FirstCommunityCouncilBackground
• The meeting participants gave brief statements on their concerns and wishes for the community. (Listen to the attached file for details)
• The Technical Board is taken off the Monday release meeting as the potential members would like more time to discuss the TCC and BDFL roles. Crawford stated that he would support the technical board if the TCC initial work leads to an state where he feels he can again contribute to TWiki.
• Monday release meeting will instead focus on the 4.2.1 release.

Corrected misleading points within the protocol, as they were statements from single persons and not an outcome of the participants of the conference call.
