Just a page to record some of the TWiki "tricks" that I'm learning.

WebTopicEditTemplate which has (hidden) samples of things like an inline search and anchors.

View Metadata
View the page raw (starting by choosing "More" at the bottom of the "regular" view page), then in the URL that you get after displaying a raw page, change "raw=on" to "raw=debug".
Display Metadata "On Demand"
Use an "inline search" and set the topic to the current topic and the quantity to one (this is not the exact method -- I'd need to search in Codev or Support again to find it -- maybe do a search on
FormField, as an option is beind discussed to add a %FORMFIELD% variable / function to display individual metadata fields "on demand".
Continuation of a List Item
The most common way I've used to indent a paragraph to make it look like the continuation of a list item is by blockquote tags, which can be nested to indent to deeper levels.
An alternate workaround that works in some situations is to keep one long paragraph in the edit view, but insert what appear to be paragraph breaks using <br /> <br />.
_Aside: AFAIK, there are some limitations in HTML and (XHTML ?) that prevent me from doing things I might like to do with lists, like having properly numbered nested lists, or having a blank line between elements of anything deeper than a first level list, and ???. I guess if HTML can't do something, TWiki can't (usually?) overcome such limitations.
