Question
.
I have problem similar to
SearchFailsInHiddenWeb. WebSearch returns only zero (0) results when any term is searched in any of our authenticated webs. I checked WebPreferences, and many had NOSEARCHALL set to "ON" (all caps with quotation marks). I changed those to on (lowercase, no quotation marks). That doesn't seem to help, and I'm not even positive the previous way was wrong.
Also, I'm pretty sure the egrep and fgrep settings are correct in the TWiki.cfg. I checked with testenv, and that told me they are set to the directories and files where my boss assures me they live (also, WebIndex works).
I think the most significant factor is this: WebSearch woks in Main, Test, Know, etc -- all webs that came with the install. It doesn't work on any of the webs we created. Is it a permission thing? I would think not, since the same script is used to search any/all the webs.
