Question

I'm running a Non-Root Account version of TWiki (hosted on phpwebhosting.com which gives me a shell). Everything was working fine until I recently upgraded from 4.2.0 to 4.2.3. I can see all the Webs and Topics, but now when I try and edit a Topic (in the Sandbox and everywhere else) I get the following error: "There was a problem retrieving the page: OK". I've rerun the configuration script and just went through checking all of the setup files: LocalSite, LocalLib, and .htaccess (in the twiki, pub, bin, and sub-directories). Everything looks fine, or at least nothing has changed from when TWiki 4.2.0 was working. Any ideas?

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

Check out the apache errors logs, permissions, path to the rcs command, and run a diff between your <localsite.cfg.4.2.3 > and <localsite.cfg.4.2.0> files.
