Question

I'm having a problem with pref variable substitution within this JSCalendar statement in a form (to create a new topic).

<button type="reset" onclick="return showCalendar('mydatefieldid','OnCall%Y%m%d')"/>

The %Y% within OnCall%Y%m%d is being substituted with the checkbox graphic.
I've tried putting a ! in front of %Y%, but that doesn't work at all.
Using "* Set Y = " causes %Y% to be replaced with null. $percntY$percnt doesn't work, either.

The only solution I've found so far is to remark out the preference variable site-wide. What am I missing?

Thanks.
