Question
My TWIKI mail does not work.
By submitting new user registration the message is Internal Error by sending email. I have checked that NET::SMTP is installed and have been configured .
There are a lot similar question but I do not find any direction that help.
BTW how do I log back in to change configure (password authentication) as the changes were not accepted by twiki.

Answer
If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.
to find out more about the Internal error, have a look into your apache error log file (probably in /var/log/httpd on RH based systems)
logging back into configure? what do you mean? the apache auth popup, or the save password?

I install TWIKI on Windows XP and configure e-mail setting as following:
{SMTP}{MAILHOST}=mail.site.com
{SMTP}{SENDERHOST}=smtp.site.com
and configure SMTP user name and password. But I can not register new user because TWIKI says there is a internal error when sending e-mail.
Could someone tell me how to resolve this?
