i added INCLUDE{WEB.WebLeftBar} and the left bar came but the problem is that i want to make left bar as in twiki.
I am getting left bar and the text which i wrote below that and not right to it as it should be..
i hope u got it.. the left navigation should be at left and whatever i write in that page should be right to it but its coming down to left bar.

I have no idea what your problem is. Its seems you don't have a left bar by default. Which skin do you use? What
do you see?

i am using pattern skin. yes i don,t have a left bar but when i add that include command it comes up which is set for a particular user of my WEB. Is there any other skin that i should use or what else can be the cause?

I think I understand Mayans problem: he has included the systems leftbar in a n ordinary topic.
You need to have a topic named
WebLeftBar in your web: everything you enter into that topic should appear automagically in the left bar. Use bulleted lists for the individual entries. See
TWiki:TWiki.WebLeftBarCookbook
for more examples how to design your own left bar.

I couldn't find the left bar in a web after installing 6.0.2 and trying to transport a 4.1.2 web into it. The
WebLeftBar topic was there and I hadn't made any mods to the skin, so I assume the "pattern" skin was the one being used and the left bar ought to be there. So I forced the issue by adding "set COVER = pattern" to the preferences of the web and it appeared!

You can also add a sidebar to the TopMenuSkin, see
TopMenuSkin
