It's hard to know what all the categories mean. They have correctly identified some of the plugins, but not all, but then maybe their definitions don't quite match our plugins. We have to bear in mind that this is focused on CMS.
Conspicuous by their absence:
| Session Management |
Free Add On (SessionPlugin) - or do they mean re-entrant sessions? |
| SSL Logins |
No support? Gosh, I'd better shut down my SSL TWiki server then! |
| Commercial Support |
available from http://c-dot.co.uk and other consultants |
| Commercial Training |
available from http://c-dot.co.uk and other consultants |
| Online help |
TWiki web |
| Professional services |
available from http://c-dot.co.uk and other consultants |
| Contents reuse/scheduling/staging |
What on earth are these? If you have to ask, you haven't got them? |
|
Many of the built-in applications are addressed to some degree, either by plugins or
TWikiApplications. But perhaps the TWiki implementations don't meet the invisible criteria?

Detail for all criteria is available by mousing over the row titles. Specifically:
| Feature |
Description |
TWiki |
| Session Management |
Does the system provide some facility for an administrator to see who is logged in, what they are doing, and log them out if necessary? |
See, but definitely not log out |
| SSL Logins |
Can this system be configured to switch to SSL mode (HTTPS) for logins, and then back to normal HTTP after the login? This kind of functionality protects user login information from being sniffed. |
Stay in SSL. but not switch back |
| Commercial Support |
Can support be purchased from a commercial organization with trained staff members? |
Could be argued, but I think this means according to a defined training plan |
| Commercial Training |
Can training be purchased from a commercial organization that has dedicated training staff for this CMS? |
Dedicated? If there is one we need to say where |
| Online Help |
Is there an integrated context-sensitive help system built in to the CMS? |
If ours context sensitive? |
| Professional Services |
Are there commercially available professional services organizations to customize or provide administrative services for this CMS? |
I think most customers would think of large companies, but I agree that this should be changed |
| Content Reuse |
Does the system allow content to be mirrored (not copied, but reused) from one location to another on a site? |
I don't think this means "point to pub" Doesn't %INCLUDE cover that? |
| Content Scheduling |
Does the system allow for content to be automatically added or removed from a site based upon date? |
|
| Content Staging |
Can content be created on one server and easily "pushed" to another server? |
|
I answered the questionnaire - I've passed control of the entry to Peter but as long as he does not change the password - I am happy to change the entry if we can justify our answers.
This is a useful process - potential customers are likely to be comparing us the same way.
Additionally wiki's such as
SocialText would be rated as "no" on many of these features, but the poor rankings we are starting to get on processes such as "easy install" and "easy upgrade" are valid criticisms and
can help the community focus its attention.

I've agreed with Peter that I'll look after this page. Please discuss any opinions here.

In answer to the "doesn't %INCLUDE cover that", I'd posture that a facility would mean some sort of management of the other site as a whole, i.e. management of a remote hierarchy as a block, tracking of what is clicked and being notified when remote links die. It would also be nice to say "take a local copy" of that remote page.
I'm open to arguments though, of course
