An XBox-Linux hosting TWiki

http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Sections-article150-page1.php has a very nice article about how to turn an XBox into a linux box for use as a Network Attached Storage device.

There's a version of debian for the XBox called Xebian

How about we go one step further and package TWiki in a (recycled) Box?

Hey, that's a cool! cool idea!

We'd need a name... like... TWikiInAnXBox or TWixxi...

-- MartinCleaver - 25 Jan 2006

TWiXBox, XBoxTWiki, TBoxWiki, ...

Actually, there's lots of appliances Linux (and therefore TWiki) can be made to run on these days. Take for instance a lot of Asus'es and Linksys'es NAS-boxes or "home gateways".

Martin, is this something you are considering to action on, perhaps as a proof-of-concept kind of thing?

No. At least not in the near term.
