TWiki Logo Early Discussion
What happened to the early logo discussion, prior to
TWikiLogoDevelopment?

If you go back to earlier versions of that topic (such as
rev 30) you'll see some of the earlier ideas floated. There was also
FriendshipLogos.

Lynnwood,
Thanks! I actually found the stuff I was looking for in
HighResolutionLogos.
Since I've found the information I was planning to delete this page. I (actually thought I did that yesterday)--I'll delete it (this page) next time I come across unless someone suggests otherwise (or if I don't have the necessary permissions to delete it).

I would suggest making an "Archive" web, make it not searchable and not in the site map, and disable its indexing by search engines via
robots.txt. Thus obsolete pages would be moved to it rather than deleted, this would enable us to more freely delete things, knowing this "safety net" exists, but still allow oldtimers to point to old debates when newcomers ask "why?" on some currents situations. Note that we could use the Trash web for this purpose, if we are sure no automatic Trash cleaning will happen in the future.

That is one of the ideas that
TWikiOrgWebsiteFacilitatorTaskTeam want to push forward.

none the less, Randy, yes, feel free to delete your own question topic, as archiving it isn't that useful.

Sorry, decided not to delete the page yet, as I have a followup question:
I got to wondering why my Google searches (for example, on [logo robot Kramer]) don't find the page
HighResolutionLogos. In fact, quite a few attempts at searching for that page don't find it, yet many other pages are found. Is there a robots.txt file (or something similar) in effect for that page, or is google just not indexing that page for their own reasons?
Even a search on [site:twiki.org
HighResolutionLogos] doesn't turn up the page. (If you tell Google to show you all the hits, it does list a diff of that page, but not the "base" page.)

Most of the
TDO is not being indexed by google (unless the topic appears in another site with a direct link). Try
this search
and you will see what I mean. I don't know if this is a sideeffect of
robots.tx or what.
