Merge ExtendedSelectPluginTo Core

Bugs:Item2759 reported a problem with multiselect for forms not working.

This was actually raised as a bug report and not an enhancement request.

It was proposed to fix this by merging in the code from a very small plugin called ExtendedSelectPlugin.

On WhatIsIn04x01 WillNorris has proposed including ExtendedSelectPlugin.

In SVN 11620 the proposed code merge was done as a fix to the bug report.

On twiki-devel mailing list a wish was voiced to follow the release process for this one.

Our release process says that small no-brainers can be introduced in Bugs only. And larger changes must be discussed in Codev and voted for in a release meeting if there is no consensus. This one is obviously right at the border line.

There is no need for an owner or driver on this because it is implemented. So this topic is now about if the change should be reverted or changed.

The bugs item and discussion was raised by me. I also raised a question as to whether the "shrink" feature should belong in core.

Noone voiced oppinion against the feature as such. There was an unanswered question but I did not interpret this as opposing the overall feature.

Since this is already implemented in the code I will move it to DONE on WhatIsIn04x01.

Well this merge was not quite 100% as it reintroduced Bugs:Item1045 and broke the BlogPlugin I resubmitted a new Bugs:Item3004 Why was that patch dropped?
