What is LinkRot?

In brief, it's when web pages previously accessible at a particular URL are no longer reachable at that URL due to movement or deletion of the pages.

In a perfect universe, there is no LinkRot, because everything is planned ahead of time. In practice, that's not feasible and, obviously, it's contradictory to wikiness.
