1. Feature Requests for Kampala Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention
• See TWikiFeatureProposals

• ParameterizedLinkSimpler by Hideyo-san
  • Proposed over 7 days ago, so automatically acccepted

• NewTopicLinkLeadingToTemplateOptions by Hideyo-san
  • Need for feature, make configurable with preferences setting
  • Thumbnail feature for phase 2 - could be a plugin that renders template pages in memory & caches it, or a FooBarTemplateThumbnail with attachment for FooBarTemplate topic

• TopicPreferenceForQuietSaves by Timothe
  • Handled as bug, TWikibug:Item7430, not feature - spec as discussed:
  • Remove "Quiet save" button and restore the "do not notify users of change" checkbox
  • DONTNOTIFYCHECKBOX setting to accept 0, 1, on (e.g. do IF test to pre-check checkbox)

2. Extensions

• Desired outcome: Get everyone in sync, coordinate enhancements
• See WebChanges in Plugins web

• WatchlistPlugin - enhanced by Timothe:
  • Now can subscribe to whole web and to newly created topics
  • PTh will work on UI of "watched topics" tab
  • Watch menu items and links on topic need to be made aware of watch whole topic state
  • Possible issue for sites that have hundreds of web => Possibly introduce a "webs I follow" list?

• SpreadSheetPlugin by PTh:
  • Added new functions ADDLIST(), GETLIST(), SETLIST() to save and restore lists

• EcoTrashPlugin by Timothe and PTh:
  • Timothe and PTh went back one forth on enhancing this new plugin
  • Good state to be included as a core plugin
  • Disagreement on including PatternSkin specific CSS in manage trash form
  • Multiple trash disks not supported at this time - Hideyo-san to look into it (UsingMultipleDisks)

3. Review Urgent and Not So Urgent Bugs

• Desired outcome: Identify must fixes

• It is good to have old-timers Timothe and Harald back at the release meeting
• How can we attract more developers?
