Motivation

Listing the members of a group may be something that many users would find useful. For example, defining a group of people that can be selected in a form.

It would be great, if possible, that GROUPS accepts a parameter that would output the members of a specific group.

Description and Documentation

As far as I'm aware there is no easy way to display the members of a specific group. The current method (found as a response to an existing question) appears to be using a difficult to understand SEARCH using SpreadSheetPlugin. This solution however does not work when a parent group contains child groups.

HaraldJoerg has provided a method that works in Support.SID-02278 however it is also difficult to understand.

This sounds like a good idea. If you are a developer I encourage you to list yourself as a committed developer with date of commitment, then implement this and add a patch to this topic.
