Who am I?
My name is Frank Lichtenheld. I maintain several TWiki installations for DENX Software Engineering,
a German company developing Embedded Linux solutions. For this I wrote (among other things, which
are not intended for publishing) the
MultiLangPlugin.
What do I want?
write access to
SVN for the following branches:
twikiplugins
What can I do?
I want to continue maintaining my Plugin and check-in any other Plugins and/or
AddOns I might develop
in the future.
Why do I want to do it?
My work on
MultiLangPlugin is paid for by the company mentioned above. In my free time I don't
currently work on TWiki, since I'm already too involved in other FLOSS projects.
Currently I maintain
MultiLangPlugin in a private
SVN repository, but commit access to the TWiki-SVN
would ease my work since I wouldn't need to merge any changes back and forth.

Questions and Comments:
Frank, I support your request. A growing TWiki Plugins community is very beneficial to the whole TWiki project.

Some time passed since April.
What is the status on this request? What do other
TWikiCommunity members think?

Although I don't have commit rights of any kind (cause I don't want them

) I second this request because I think everybody who created and published a plugin on twiki.org and asks for access rights to twikiplugins should more or less automatically get that access granted.
Of course it's a completely different story with access rights to the core develop area. I for one want only people touch the code that proved their competence and trustworthiness (are knowing what they are doing) and showed their passion for TWiki on multiple occasions.

Guess this is a request that came in during a massive update so it fell below the line on the RSS feed. Naturally a contributor that wants to maintain his plugin on
SVN should be very welcome to do so.

Some interesting
L10N work you are doing, Frank, exited to see what further improvements you are thinking of. Let's have the
SVN hurdle out of the way for starters
