"Extensions are small add-ons that add new functionality to Firefox. They can add anything from a toolbar button to a completely new feature. They allow the browser to be customized to fit the personal needs of each user if they need addtional features, while keeping Firefox small to download"

The article http://extensions.roachfiend.com/howto.php - tells How to write FireFox Extensions ... its just simple JavaScript!

This sounds neat. I've started a port of the Wikipedia (MediaWiki) version. I've created the FirefoxExtensionAddOn page for the eventual distribution of this extension.

I just came across this pretty cool FireFoxExtension called WikalongExtension that implements some of what I envisioned in TWikiAsWebCommentaryTool. It uses a mini-wiki in a sidebar for making comments and notes about web pages.

It would be useful if we had a firefox extension that allowed users to right-click paste windows table (e.g. excel table): it could add the | | lines in around the values.

Someone just pointed me to the Live HTTP Headers extension for Firefox which might help figure this thing out. http://livehttpheaders.mozdev.org/
Initial tests seem to indicate that on my site, authorization is asked for twice on every save, while on twiki.org the auth challenge only happens once. HttpHeaders

http://www.stumbleupon.com is a very cool site that centralises bookmarks and then allows you to find other people who have similar interests to you.
What is cool that they released the sourcecode under the MPL... which means we can adapt it for TWiki...
Anyone up for it?
