We are running an intranet TWiki with IP authentification, so TWiki knows the TWiki user name.

And if every registrated user has entered the email address in his home page, it should be possible to retrieve the complete information for the WebNotify page.

So it would be nice to have just a link that says subscribe me and unsubsribe me. Propably a cgi script has to insert or remove the line in the WebNotify page, but there should already be some code in the registration script.

Good idea - would be worth adding to EmailNotificationEnhancements. Of course, a patch would be even better

OmittingEmailInWebNotify means there is no need to add the email address to WebNotify - adding the user's WikiName is enough.
