I'd like to be able to have the attachments list hidden, and I can achieve that already. However, if I edit the body of the topic, I'd like the attachment list to be displayed beneath the edit box (if there is one), so that the person editing the text has a handy list of all available attachments to reference.
I'm sure this should be pretty straightforward, and can probably be done with some magical template changes, but as it's only my second day of playing with TWiki, I need to ask those with more experience.
Any ideas ?

I think what you want to do is remove the:
%META{"attachments"}%
block from the
templates/view.tmpl file, and then add it somewhere in the
templates/edit.tmpl file. Since there are several spots this might work, you will probably want to try it in several places. I would probably put it right after
%F0RMFIELDS% in the edit template.

That worked great ;o) Thanks. I actually put it before the FORMFIELDS but that's just me. Also just discovered, that if I select my sig, I can then drag it into the textarea - I was trying to achieve a clever way of inserting it, but not bothering now.
Thanks again for the help.
