What can I do?
I have developed
which is currently checked into sourceforge CVS. I did not get around to putting it 0n
Plugins web.
This one is a
MediaWiki - style way of adding and handling categories with some enhancement and more functionality than the former. It is in the idea/functional prototype state. It is good enough to use for my own domestic needs, but not good enough for 1.0. It is more like being at 0.3-0.4 level.
Why do I want to do it?
- Best reasons of 'em all - egoistic, self-serving interests.
- I am too pressed for time to develop CategoryPlugin to the extant I want. So, I hope that the idea will entice other developers to improve it and contribute ideas/effort.
- I black-box test my code manually, with no automatic regression test suit. Testing is good enough for my current usage, but it is quite beneficial to have more free testers.
- No plans to get rich off these plugins, so why not let others use 'em for free?

Questions and Comments:
On past performances, "enticing others" takes a lot more effort than chucking code over the wall, unfortunately. But if you are determined, I don;t see why you shouldn't be able to check in to twikiplugins, which lets you do all you want.
