Comments & Questions about this Supplemental Document Topic

Wouldn't it have been cleaner to switch Xxxx and Supplement in the XxxxSupplement topic names to SupplementXxxx? -- Hm, well, maybe not. -- Maybe I'm too much a friend of using NamingConventions for organizing (sorting) purposes.

I see your point. There are counter arguments:

  • RenderingSupplement reads nicer than SupplementRendering
  • It is easier to scan a word if it is at the beginning, e.g.
    • compare:
      • EditingSupplement
      • RenderingSupplement
    • with:
      • SupplementEditing
      • SupplementRendering

It always depends where there is the focus, do I need the content 'sorted' by Rendering or Supplement, either is legitim. It would be best if we could totally decouple this so that the same content could have multiple 'names', but that's wishfull thinking I guess, as long as there is no database driven file system making this completely transparent.
