SID-01032: Upgrade from 4.2.3 to 5.0 - Solaris 10 update 8 to CentOS 6

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to upgarde 4.2.3 to 5.0 Twiki that is running on Solaris 10 update 8 OS.

Current OS - Solaris 10 update 8 Current version Twiki - 4.2.3 Web Server version - Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) DAV/2 PHP/4.4.5

Would like to upgarde to: Hardware - New Hardware OS - CentOS 6 Current version Twiki - 5.0 Web Server version - anything that is latest and works

I would like to extract the data from the current system and import it to the new one.

I need documentation on how to perform this task.

Please advise.

There sould be no issue to switch server OS, especially if you switch to CentOS. Docs at TWikiUpgradeGuide.

TWiki has now an easy point & click solution to upgrade TWiki with the help of the BackupRestorePlugin.
