SID-00617: TagMePlugin Tagging New Topic

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.0.0 Perl version:
Category: CategoryPlugins Server OS: Last update: 16 years ago

The TagMePlugin appears without issue on a topic and I can additionally tag a topic manually through the %TAGME% plugin method, however when I attempt to tag a topic using the UI (skin set to blog), the page posts back but does not appear to persist the tag I've selected.

Please let me know if more information would be helpful.

Discussion and Answer

Check the permission of your twiki/working/work_areas/TagMePlugin directory. Set it and the files in it to be owned by your webserver user, such as apache.

Also, for testing try to use the default PatternSkin to see if this is skin related.
