SID-00228: user registration autofills email/password, how to disable?

The new user registration page on my TWiki site automatically populates the email and password form boxes with a default (which probably not coincidentally is the same as my {SMTP}{Username} field in configure).

I would much rather prefer that these fields remain blank when a new user goes to sign up, so there is no confusion that they need to fill these fields in with their own email address.

Also, the login page populates the login form with this same login/ password as well, and I also want that to be empty by default.

I've combed through the configure script and the preference pages and can't seem to find a setting to disable this. Any clue on where to look?

You need to look in TWiki/TWikiRegistration topic. Set the fields you want to remain blank as type=hidden and value=""
