Management Console
The Management Console application (Management Console) provides an integrated
environment for managing content-related and messaging items in your installation of X-treme
Alerts Platform (XAP).
Management Console provides you with an immediate access to subscriber information,
messaging logs, and marketing and performance metrics. It ensures complete control over
alerts per product installation (line of business), or throughout the entire system.
Management Console enables you to:
Control all alerts within the system, including hot-deploying updated alerts
Monitor the system for error conditions and investigate causes
Manage user accounts on subscribers’ behalf
Manage multiple product configurations for various lines of businesses
Query and manage subscribers, alerts, messages, etc.
Execute batch processors and determine their status
View and maintain service provider configurations, including deployment of new alert
masters, rules, command applications, etc.
CPToolkit
The Content Provider Toolkit application (CP Toolkit) is designed to help you develop and test
alerts for the 724 X-treme Alerts Platform (XAP) in a friendly, interactive environment.
The CP Toolkit application provides a GUI that enables you to define alerts and offer them to
subscribers in very short order. The alert definitions include:
Content type
Parameters on which subscribers can query
Notification methods
You can use CP Toolkit to define MMS alerts, which enable the system to send media-rich
notifications to mobile devices. Behind the scenes, CP Toolkit automatically builds back-end
infrastructure that ensures efficient, scaleable alerting. For more information, see the System
Overview.
