You can apparently manually submit your web site(s) to search engines to increase its visibility.

Top Dog Pro is apparently one product (not free, I'm guessing over $200) that will help do it automatically.

On a related note, Robot Manager ($180 list) can collect various statistics (which pages were visited by spiders, etc.) to help manage your site (exclude robots from certain pages, resubmit pages, etc., etc., etc.) -- Oops, wait -- there is apparently an $80 version and a free trial version -- I want to download that and try reading the documentation -- would expect to learn something.
