Question

Render.pm truncates anchors in headers to 32 characters. Why is this? It causes problems for teh Flowchart plugin so I've removed the truncation from my installation. Will that cause problems? (None so far)

Primary reason: To keep URLs short. A URL with anchor is sometimes sent by e-mail, some mail clients have a nasty habit of splitting apart long URLs.

I do not see a problem by removing the restriction besides planning for TWiki upgrade issues.
