Question

Something seems to have gone wrong with a TWiki installation we have - Any RSS Reader is unable to show any items frm any web's WebRss. Navigating to any web's WebRss in a browser shows up the navigational LeftBar, header etc and shows the feeds as regular text in a single line in the right hand side are of the page, instead of showing up plain XML data for the feeds.

On viewing the html source in the browser, it is seen that the expected WebRss content (starting with a 'channel' etc) does exist on the page, but somehow there are also the extra components (leftbar, header, etc) which cause RSS readers to not recognize the feed. Could someone please suggest what could have gone wrong with the installation or how this can be corrected? Thanks.

Environment

TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Fedora Core 5
Web server: Apache 2.0.54
Perl version: 5.8.6

Did you specify the skin=rss as documented in TWiki03.WebRssBase?
