Question

I force users to log in first. I want to list only Webs that authenicated users can view in the Left Bar. WebList does not filter out webs base on permissions. I tried to figure out how the search routine works from the SiteMap but so far no success.

This is my problem as well, I'd like to create a weblist based on user privileges. Now the privileged group cannod select the web from the list since WEBLIST only shows public webs.

WEBLIST shows public webs except for the TWikiAdministrators who get to see all Webs. If you need to make certain features only accessible by members of group X you might be helped with FuncUsersContrib.

Arthur's comment on WEBLIST applies to TWikiRelease04x00x04 and later. Earlier versions only showed public webs, also for admins.
