Question

I'm completely new to TWiki. I installed the recent version of TWiki and now I'm wondering why my "Register"-page at home doesn't contain any fields for passwords like it is here on twiki.org. Do I have to download additinal forms oder do I have to change the form by myself ? I tried to find some documentation here, maybe I did something wrong ....

Answer

Did you configure your site with the configure script? There you have the tab "Security setup" where you can enter if you want authentication. The Registration page reflects the settings in configure.

Above comment relate to the TWiki version that will be released on Wednesday.

For the release you are using: In the TWiki web, please rename TWikiRegistrationPub to TWikiRegistration and customize to your needs. TWikiInstallationGuide has more.
