Can I use the TWiki for documetation of closed source/commercial software?

Yes, actually that would be one of TWikis main target areas.

I guess you are thinking of issues related to TWikis license or similar here, but as the license is GPL (see GnuGeneralPublicLicense), you have very free hands with regards to your usage of the software.

The remaining question, if it is applicable for the task is for you to decide, but my opinion would be "very" smile
