Question

Hi, with some topics the notification e-mail shows strikethrough formatting, which does not look nice. An example is included.

These are all modifications of an action in ActionTrackerPlugin

If anyone has an idea how to get rid of this, please let me know

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

That's how it shows changes; using DEL and INS tags. You can get rid of it by recoding the core where it generates the differences.....

Another good solution for me would be to not to show the differences at all, but just

  • topic title, date, r.x->r.y, changer

And if the topic title link would then point to

http://your/twiki/bin/compare/Web/Topic?rev1=r.x&rev2=r.y

Then i think that would be more helpful to my users. Is it possible to change what is being notified and if so, can you give me some pointers?

Thanks!

These suggestions should be moved to the respective plugin topics (MailerContribDev / ActionTrackerPluginDev) or to the bugbase (Bugs:WebHome) so they are not forgotten.
