Question

I have installed GetAWebAddOn. When trying to use it I just get an empty tar file and the following error in Apache's error.log:

Can't call method "gzwrite" on unblessed reference at /usr/share/perl5/Archive/Tar.pm line 521.

I'm running Debian woody with the included Archive:Tar (version 0.22). I don't speak Perl, so I guess it's some simple thing I forgot...

Thanks, Claude

Answer

which version of GetAWebAddOn did you use? in any case, i'll upload a new version (0.96) which should hopefully provide more debugging information.

i'm not sure why it'd be calling gzwrite, as compression isn't currently supported. did you use a .tar extension or something else?
