Question
I have performed a fresh install of TWiki 4.2 and set up
LdapContrib. Authentication works, but user mapping doesn't.
TWikiUsers doesn't exist and LDAP users do not get a registration page. It should be noted that I have not created any TWiki users other than the default accounts. Before I installed
LdapContrib, the Registration link was available but disappeared after.
I get the following error in warn.txt.

TWikiUserMapping has TURNED OFF
EnableNewUserRegistration, because the password file is read only.
I am also unable to change LDAP user's passwords despite enabling the option.

I was able to get user home pages to come up after installing
NewUserPlugin. It wasn't clear to me at first that was needed. I still can't change user passwords. I see the following on the
ChangePassword page:
Sorry, the password system is currently read only, please contact ...
Also,
TWikiUsers does still not exist.

I don't want to get into too many questions with this topic, so for user mapping to work well and create home pages for LDAP users,
NewUserPlugin is what is needed. I will create a seperate support question concerning the change password feature.
