Question
I have recently purchased an HP Mini-Note computer preinstalled with
SuSE Enterprise Desktop 10 Linux. This does
not include Apache by default. Also, no CD.
I want to install TWiki. What are my best options?
- Install Apache from source?
- Install Apache from an rpm archive somewhere on the web? (where?)
- Install another web server? If so, which one?
My experience is all in BSD Unix and Apache.

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
You find repositories at
http://software.opensuse.org/search
.
OpenSuse 10.1 is the basis for SLE10 series
I have read
TWikiOnSuSE could be a source for you. And perhaps other info from
TWikiOn. I only have tested Suse earlier and installed apache2 from Yast and then downloaded and unpacked TWiki zip/tar-file from twiki.org.
If there's no yast repositories for you to install from I found
this link
that has other repositories that you can add. I haven't tried them myself but you can google yourself to see they seem trustworthy by others. Also
this
is a forum with some info.
Otherwise I think it is usual to add some
OpenSuse repositories.

This being
SuSE from Novell, it turned out that the proper repository is the Novell
SuSE Desktop Service Pack 2.
