Question
hello, world!
I am a TWiki newbie who has TWiki 4.1.2 running on a
FreeBSD 6.2 box using Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) mod_perl/1.29 as one of several named virtual hosts. I am trying to figure out how to enable mod_perl to speed things up. I've STFW, RTFM, and tried the "Auto-generated twiki.conf to be included from httpd.conf" utility, but I'm not seeing any improvements. Any suggestions?
TIA,
David

If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
firstly, are you sure you are running the twiki cgi's under mod_perl ?
on most of my systems, when I turn on mod_perl there is a notiable change in the interactivity of the scripts - though it does really just change the load into memory phase.
The other thing you may need to examine is to use
NativeSearch - as without searching under mod_perl is problematic.
