SID-02366: encoding problems after editing topic(wysiwyg)

Status: Asked Asked TWiki version: 6.0.2 Perl version: rev 5, ver 16, subv 3
Category: CategoryPlugins Server OS: Rhel 7.2 3.10.0-327 Last update: 6 years ago

Hello.

After migrating to version 6.0.2 from solaris server to rhel7.2(server died, file restore from backup), i have some problems with cyrillic characters after editing topic with wysiwyg. Before editing, migrated topic (en and ru characters) looks fine, during editing too, but after saving(could be without any modification) part of text keeps cyrillic, part goes "????"(english characters are ok).

If im disabling wysiwyg, text editing goes fine.

server locale ru_RU.cp1251 twiki configure script site locale ru_RU.cp1251 site charset windows-1251

Requesting for help=)

Discussion and Answer

Did the value of TWiki::cfg{Site}{Locale} change from the previous version?

I saw something similar and could not change from ISO-8859-1 to UTF8 without seeing similar problems
