Discussion and Answer
Here's a recipe to move the tags to the bottom:
- In your installation directory, copy
templates/view.tagme.tmpl to templates/view.tagsbottom.tmpl
- In that copy, replace
contentheader with contentfooter
- In your
Main.TWikiPreferences, add a preference setting Set SKIN = tagsbottom, topmenu, pattern
- Done!
The background:
The position of the tags is defined in the template
view.tagme.tmpl in the
templates directory of your installation, and this file is activated by the setting
SKIN = tagme, topmenu, pattern in your
TWiki.TWikiPreferences topic. The topic
Main.TWikiPreferences is intended for local customisations which will not get lost when you upgrade TWiki, therefore it is a better location to change the setting. And by creating a copy of
view.tagme.tmpl, this changes are as well safe.
Both the areas
contentfooter and
contentheader are present in TWiki skins but empty in the "core" distribution.
