Dear Support Team,
First of all it's very nice to be here. I am very happy to meet with Twiki Platform. Let me inform you that I have installed Twiki as "http://istenovaisguvenligi.com/".
Unfortunately maybe I am the only person in Turkey using the Twiki. So, I have a Turkish characters (such as : "İ", "ş", "ö", "ğ", "ü", "ç") problem. When I write my topics in Turkish letters by using WYSIWYG editor, the letters are totally collapsed and can not be read anymore.
How can we solve this problem? I have to use Turkish characters without any problem. Please help me to overcome this issue.
For your reference/review let me share:

Thanks in advance.

Discussion and Answer
You need to enable internationalization. Good place to start:

Hello Peter, this is Martin Raabe.
I gave Sinan a good start into using and desiging an own TWiki at TMD hosting.
In configure I've set the {Site}{Locale} to tr_TR.UTF-8 and {Site}{CharSet} to iso-8859-1.
This seemed to be the best fit to get turkish characters appear.
unfortunately the WYSIWYG Editor can handle them differently as the RAW editor.
So it seems the characters entered in the one or the other editor result in different rendering, especially in headings.
Maybe you can shed some light into this issue.
Greetings from Germany
Take care
Martin

I am sorry I can't be of help with this one, I have never configured TWiki for foreign character sets. Time to look up the documentation of the
TinyMCE editor.
