We have a request on our TWIki to search for something directly in the history of the page. This is for pages that have been edited many times and have many versions.
Any ideas?

Discussion and Answer
Search currently only works on the top revision of topics.
It is conceivable to create a plugin that searches also in all topic revisions. I am concerned about performance though.
Depending on what you need it might be better to store historical info in a TWiki form field, such as topic creation time and original author.
