SID-01573: Edittable Select populated by search

I tried the following code, thinking that putting a SEARCH inside and EDITTABLE would be same as doing a nested search. But it is not working. When I click the Edit button I don't get the table to edit. %EDITTABLE{format="|date, 10, , %Y-%m-%d |select,1,$percntSEARCH{ \"ProductLaunch00*\" format=\"$dollarformfield(LaunchName)\" scope=\"topic\" type=\"regex\" nonoise=\"on\" reverse=\"on\"separator=\",\" }$nop%| textarea, 5x80 |textarea, 5x80 |" javascriptinterface="off"}%

It is actually working - Just had to hit "add row" button to reveal the editable part.!!
