After clicking the edit button (not the raw edit button), my Internet Explorer window always opens and displays the wiki page in the raw edit mode but without line feeds. Other co-workers at our facility don't have this problem (it only occurs on my PC). It doesn't matter which wiki page I attempt to edit.

Discussion and Answer
Strange, I have never seen that issue reported. What IE version do you use? Does it fix the issue if you upgrade IE?

Windows Internet Explorer9 version 9.0.8.112.16421
I will update and see if the problem goes away.

I do not know why it only happens on one machine.
The WYSIWYG editor turns itself off if it can't handle the content. This happens if there is complex HTML or TWiki variables in the page. If this happens you will see raw content in edit mode regardless of the browser used.

I downloaded Google Chrome and the problem went away. Chrome displays the text properly in the WYSIWYG editor.
IE fails to display the following message in red font, but proceeds to display the raw text without any line feeds. Chrome momentarily displays it and then proceeds to display the web page content.
Please wait ... retrieving from server.
Chrome has a separate issue in that at the bottom of the page in the WYSIWYG editor there are four buttons: Save, Quiet Save, Save and Continue, and Cancel. The Save button doesn't work: it exits the editor without saving. So I have to always click the "Save and Continue" button followed by the "Save" button.

I have never seen the issue with Chrome either. You possibly have a corrupt TWiki installation. This may happen if you upgrade TWiki and carry some system files from the old installation to the new installation.
I recommend a fresh install of TWiki to verify that your browser issues are fixed. After that migrate your data to the new server. See
TWikiUpgradeGuide and
BackupRestorePlugin.
