SID-01297: Deleted User Not Deleted

Hello,

One of our Twiki users registered to the site but forgot his password.

Upon reset, he got this message:

"The entry for user ****? was missing in the password system."

What I did was edited the .htpasswd file and added his e-mail address since it isn't available.

I restarted httpd and asked him to reset his password. He got an email with a new password, but he got the error message:

"Oops: we could not recognize you. Try again or reset your password."

The next thing I did was to delete his .htpasswd entry, deleted his entry under TwikiUsers and asked him to reregister.

But, he's now getting

"You are already registered You cannot register twice, the name '*********' is already registered."

How can I make sure that his account is really deleted?

Delete the user profile page in the Main web as well.

The deleted user doesn't have any profile page:

"The topic 'XXXXXXXXXXX' you are trying to access does not exist, yet."

Hi, I tried to delete a user following those instructions and when I try to reregister the user is says "You cannot register twice. The name "MyUser" is already registered. Where is it keeping the secret info!?!
