Here's an odd bug for you: I am trying to set up an HTML form where a user enters information (such as topic title) that expands as a %URLPARAM% in both a topic template and a TWiki form field (like Title). I know of the bug that won't expand the URLPARAM in a form that is already attached to the topic template, and followed the idea in SID-00625 of having the HTML form call the topic and form separately. This worked perfectly, and the new topic was created with the form fields correctly populated. HOWEVER, I then discovered that a query search that should have retrieved the topic based on one of those form fields wasn't working, and then when I opened the topic in Raw Edit, the form field in question was blank. I suspect that this may initially have had something to do with the HTML form input being <select>, so I changed the corresponding field in the TWiki Form to text. This worked - on the HTML form the input was from a select menu, and this successfully populated the field in the TWiki form that was set as text. When I then opened the topic in Raw Edit, I could edit that field as text. However, my query still isn't finding it - it seems like it will only find values that are "set" in the form, rather than "passed" by a URLPARAM.

Discussion and Answer
I am not sure I follow. Can you bring a concrete example? Also, see newly posted
ContactDbAddOn that has a form to push content into new topics.
