Hey,
can someone explain how I can search in the "WebSearch" text with wildcards:
for examble:
http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki/WebHome
searching "*aboration" to get "collaboration" ... I always get no results.
Can I change somenting in the options or am i using the wrong wildcards??
thx in advanced

Discussion and Answer
The default search type in TWiki's
WebSearch is
type="word" which searches for full words. You can change the default to
type="keyword". That way you can search for text within a word.
Test:
- default search with
type="word" for "collaboration"
- default search with
type="word" for "collaboration" - no hits
- search with
type="keyword" for "collaboration"
- search with
type="keyword" for "aboration" with hits
You can do wildcard-like searches with
RegularExpression using
type="regex" search. Use
.*aboration instead of
*aboration.
