Hi all together!
I have downloaded the newest TWiki Version 4.3.0, unzipped it, run the rewriteshebang.pl-script, and executed the configure script as attached in the fileattachment-area.
My problem is: I can't search anything. Every result I get is "0", I recognized it when I wondered why the "Recent Changes" were not listed. Server and Client are the same computer (without any virtual systems like "VMware"): Microsoft Windows XP Professional as OS and IE 7.0 as browser.
I already searched a little bit and found the order to check the "egrep" and "fgrep" settings in the configure-script, but I cannot find them there.
Kind regards,
Mark

Discussion and Answer
Addition:
The topic search works: If I search for "Web" for example, I get all topics that name starts with "Web".
Search for "Web" in topics --> OK
Search for "Web" in topics and text --> All topics beginning with "Web" are listed
Search for "Web" in text only --> 0 results
Greeting, have a nice weekend!

Addition:
The following codeline produces "0" results (copied from
WebChanges):
%_SEARCH{"^." web="Support" type="regex" nosearch="on" noheader="on" order="modified" limit="50" reverse="on"}%
If you replace it with THIS line, the "Recent changes"-search works at least:
%_SEARCH{"^." web="Support" scope="topic" regex="on" nosearch="on" order="modified" limit="50" reverse="on"}%
Is it possible that the Search-Algorithm was changed basically with the release of the Version 4.3.0 and some components have not been adapted yet?
Note: Forget the "_" in the commands, I had to put them before the SEARCH because they are replaced if I don't do this...does anyone have a better possibility to prevent the TWiki from replacing?

You need to install the Gnu grep tools and configure TWiki to point to them. See
TWiki04x02WindowsInstallationGuide.
FYI, there is NoNeedForCryptic title, free form title is OK for support questions.

Hi!
With a click on "I've read all documentation" in the configure-script (like written in the
recommended page - thanks!), I was able to have a look at
the grep and rcs boxes. They were pointing to "/bin/grep", so I changed them to my existing cygwin-
bin-directory "D:/cygwin/bin" and it worked! I did not mention that I have installed it because I
did not know that it could be important because I use
ActivePerl for my TWiki - sorry!
Although, I did not dare to activate the expert mode because I'm new to TWiki and definitely no expert.
Thank you very much!
