SID-00072: Permissions on WebLeftBar

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.4 Perl version: 5.8.8
Category: CategoryAccessControl Server OS: ubuntu Last update: 17 years ago

Hi, Ive setup a wiki and created some Groups. Now when I add a new user (ie.e NewUser), login as that user , I can;t change the personal left bar. The error message is: (Translated back from german) Acces cntrol for NewUserLeftBar failed. Action CHANGE to this web not allowed.

Does that mean that I hav e to give CHANGE pernission to every user for the main web ?

Regards

Discussion and Answer

Known issue in 4.2.4 release: Go to the WebPreferences of your Main web and remove the TWikiRegistrationAgent from the ALLOWWEBCHANGE setting.
