Reset Password Problem

When I do a reset password for any user it emails the new password but if I look at the .htpasswd file it deletes the email entry from the file. The password gets reset though. The problem comes when the user tries to reset the password again it says that there is no email address for the user. TWiki Release 4.0 (Dakar)

I just checked 4.1.2 and it does not remove the email address when you reset password.

But this report was created in Codev and we do not at all have the right info in the environment table. The reporter writes TWikiRelease04Sep2004 in the table and TWiki Release 4.0 in the report. But which 4.0? 4.0.0? 4.0.5?

On which OS is this?

Bugs:Item1636 but that was bulk password reset and it was fixed in 4.0.2

1667 is a duplicate of it.

I think the reporter runs a very old TWiki and did not search in the bug database at all. Peeyoosh you need to upgrade to 4.1.2.
