Question
Hi Support,
I created a topic called
TestArea in the Main web.
When I attach a document, if I click on the Link checkbox and then click on the Upload button, it appears as though the attachment is being uploaded but my screen hangs! It doesn't redirect to the
TestArea. Yet the file and Link appear on my
TestArea. If I do not check any of the checkboxes the upload behaviour is as expected, it uploads and redirects back to the
TestArea topic.
Also, when I click on the "Move or Delete" button the Move or Delete template displays twice (see the attached file) and when I click the move button again it appears as though the attachment is being deleted but the screen hangs just like when I upload a file but when I refresh the topic the attachment does not get deleted!
I have looked at my logs and there is nothing there to point me where the problem might lie, I have triple checked my permissions to the pub and tmp directory. Do I need to install additional CPAN modules, do I need to make an entry in my httpd.conf file?

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
I did some analysis of my own and can give you the following information, when I use the default skin (skin = pattern) the file attachments and delete works as expected. However I am using the quickmenu skin (skin = quickmenu) and this is when I encounter all my file attachment problems.
Im thinking I need to change my quickmenu templates, but not sure which one and what changes! Can anyone direct me?
Please remember I am a newbie with limited experience!
Thanks

might be worth contacting the author of
QuickMenuSkin, or posting your question in

There are some known skin problems with
QuickMenuSkin on TWiki 4.1.2, caused by templated changes in the TWiki core. See
QuickMenuSkinProblems,
OopsTemplatesNotShowingAnymore and
StableSkinInterface.
